FireFly Automatix, a manufacturer of autonomous, hybrid and electric field and lawn equipment, will launch its M100-AV lawn mower. It is FireFly's first all-electric vehicle (EV), promising environmental benefits and energy savings .
The M100-AV can operate autonomously without on-site supervision and includes LiDAR-enabled obstacle detection and avoidance for safety. This mower cuts a width of 100 inches and provides intelligent path planning.
An advanced lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO 4 ) battery powers the M100-AV mower and can quietly mow up to 25 acres per charge at speeds of 7 acres per hour. It can be quickly recharged in two hours.
The FireFly M100-AV is packed with a number of valuable features. One of them is SyncLift, a position-based lifting technology that reduces the need for cleaning passes. RoloRocker cutting unit design ach C Level Executive List ieves more stable driving from the field, allows for higher speeds and provides better appearance after cutting.

This agricultural robot uses lasers to kill 200,000 weeds per hour.
Four independent electric drive motors are synchronized with two separate steering motors for low-impact traction, and these drive motors are designed for a lifespan of over 100,000 hours and low maintenance. The autonomous lawnmower is designed to reduce maintenance costs by 65% and extend the life of the machine by 76%.
Mark LeBlanc, the lead engineer on the project, said: “It has been incredible to design this product from the ground up with such a talented and passionate team. “The culture here at FireFly has allowed our engineering team to dream big and achieve a level of excellence that will bring electric and autonomous technology to the world of mowing in an incredible way.”
The FireFly M100-AV provides data and connectivity to increase productivity, save fuel and labor, and manage agriculture and turf.
The autonomous lawn mower is ideal for sports fields, golf courses and municipalities.
FireFly is accepting pre-orders and the M100-AV will be released in late July.
